Founded in 1920 and the second oldest opera company in the U.S., Cincinnati Opera presents a thrilling roster of world-class artists and conductors, important company debuts, stunning sets and costumes, and the spectacular Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Today the company is hailed as Cincinnati's "prime summer arts festival" attracting a passionate regional audience as well as opera tourists from throughout the U.S. and Canada.

 

Current Ticket Discount:

Cincinnati Opera is offering 10 complimentary (5 pairs) tickets to AFTA-Cincinnati to be distributed to active members of the Armed Forces, Guard/Reserves and their immediate families for upcoming events. Please check the AFTA-Cincinnati Events page for information on current offers.   Also, we would be happy to extend an Armed Forces discount of 20% per ticket to any additional active duty individuals who would like to purchase opera tickets. This 20% discount is good for any number of tickets and may be redeemed by simply calling the box office and asking for the AFTA or armed forces discount.
